Jacques-Andre Dupont

Throughout his career, Jacques-André Dupont has held executive leadership, ownership and governance roles within some of Canada’s most influential organizations in the cultural, entertainment, tourism and events sectors.

As co-owner and Chief Executive Officer of L’Équipe Spectra for many years, he also led several organizations associated with the group, including the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Francos de Montréal, Montréal en Lumière and X3 Productions, producer of the internationally acclaimed exhibitions Star Wars Identities and Indiana Jones and the Adventure of Archaeology.

He subsequently served as Executive Vice-President of Groupe CH and evenko, contributing to the development of some of Canada’s most significant entertainment properties, events and business assets.

He also served as Chief Executive Officer of C2 Montréal and C2 International, where he led the organization’s growth, strategic development and international expansion.

Alongside his executive responsibilities, he has served on numerous boards of directors, including those of Tourisme Montréal, the Institut de tourisme et d'hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ), le Publicité Club de Montréal, the Regroupement des événements majeurs internationaux (RÉMI) and Festivals and Major Events Canada (FAME).

This combination of leadership, entrepreneurial and governance experience has given him a deep understanding of growth, financing, partnerships and organizational transformation, which he now brings to the executives, leadership teams and boards he advises.

Wildlife photographer, author and speaker, Jacques-André Dupont dedicates a significant part of his work to the discovery, promotion and conservation of the natural world.

For nearly fifteen years, he has travelled throughout Quebec and to destinations around the world, documenting wildlife and landscapes through photography. His approach is rooted in observation, an understanding of animal behaviour and a deep respect for natural environments, with the goal of creating images that are both compelling and meaningful.

His work has received numerous awards in Canada and internationally. His photographs have been exhibited in cities including Montreal, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo and London, and have been published by leading media outlets and publications such as National Geographic, Canadian Geographic, Africa Geographic, Paris Match and many others around the world.

Through his photography, speaking engagements and writing projects, Jacques-André seeks to foster a deeper appreciation of wildlife and ecosystems while helping raise awareness of the importance of their conservation.
